15″ bisque head German toddler.  Circa 1920.  Marked with D on back of neck.

Wouldn’t you love to take home this shelf ready antique German toddler? Just the right size for table or shelf display.  She is in excellent condition with her 5 part composition body and painted bisque head.*   Her toddler outfit has been masterfully made consisting of a tiny printed lawn with organdy collar, trimmed in loop cord.  Overtop is a charming tan felt coat.

*Note:  It was not uncommon that after WWI some German doll makers painted the heads rather the timely steps of multiple firings in the kilm as a cost saving measure.
