16″ 1936 All Original! Canadian Mounty character doll made by Doll Craft Novelty Co NY was made for Reliable, Canada. Composition flange head and lower arms,, cloth body, upper arms and legs stuffed with excelsior, stitched hip joints, molded painted brown hair and paitned eyes, closed mouth. All original (I have the had and forgot to add it to the photo. Epaulettes marked R.C.M.P. Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Doll is in great condition with 1 scuff on the chin where color is gone. $325.00

1930′s Unique Ceramic Molded Hair Type Doll

20″ This doll has got me scratching my head. I have had this doll about 20 years and have been unable to determine the maker. I have taken a photo of the mark on the back of the head. The head looks much like composition character dolls produced by Effanbee with heavy molding in the hair. In looking inside the head, it appears to be made of a clay or ceramic because it is a brick color, so it is a stoneware of some kind. The body is hard plastic. It is very cute. I made the jumper and added the shoes and rayon socks. Purchase will be billed through PayPal with shipping added. $135.00

Composition Amberg Doll with Kestner Body

18″ antique Amberg composition head doll with tin eyes, open mouth with teeth on a leather marked Kestner body, bisque hands. This type of doll was sold through Butler Brothers of NY for Amberg, who purchased bodies from Kestner to fabricate the doll. Dressed in a detailed satin suit with cotton shirt and high top boots and hat, the doll looks period to a turn of the century child. Very cute boy doll ready to display. $160.00

Composition Byelo Baby Doll

12″ 1924 composition head with brown eyes and original cloth body, celluloid hands. Marked on back Grace Putnam. This doll is in near mint condition with no rubs or scuffs to the composition. It looks nearly new with zero crazing. Her cry box even works! I cleaned this doll so the body cloth is clean and also restored a couple of fingers that were gone. The bonnet is original with new ties and the gown is 100% cotton organdy with antique lace down the front and sleeves, cotton socks. $275.00

Oriental Composition Doll 1950′s

7″ This doll is a 1950′s vintage and is made with a composition head, arms and legs, The torso and upper arms and legs are of cloth. He is wearing a robe costume in excellent condition. There is no paint flakes or crazing. The end of his nose looks rough. When I was a small child the neighbor had this doll. When he moved he gave the doll to me so I have had it over 50 years. $35.00
